PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Robert has acted as project manager for a wide range of projects, including all projects where development management services have been provided.
In addition, Robert acted as Client Representative over many years for national retailers in respect to their new leasehold properties; in these cases, we have negotiated the detailed specification requirements on behalf of the occupier, together with detailed phasing where the construction affects an existing trading store, and monitored the construction progress regularly with monthly formal reports to the client. Detailed monitoring takes place at key stages, and especially approaching handover, and in monitoring the making good of identified defects and 'snags'.

Management of property projects from concept to occupation
Retail Warehouses - as Occupiers Representative. Robert has acted on behalf of national retailers as their representative in agreeing specification and construction details, and managing the construction process, for more than 50 retail units. Projects have included new build, refurbishment of existing vacant units to the agreed specification, refurbishment (including new front elevations, new entrances, and new roof) of trading retail units - whilst maintaining continuity of trade; and splitting of retail units with new party walls and a new entrance, whilst maintaining continuity of trade.
Retail Warehouses - for investment clients. Robert has managed the development process, including design and construction project management, for both new build and refurbishment projects, including providing the occupiers with continuity of trade
Offices, Industrial and Warehouse - for investment clients - Robert has managed the development process, including design and construction project management, for new build business space of all varieties, and also for several conversions of Listed Buildings to office use.
