Robert has advised on development of PCT Health Centres, and on the development of a Listed former hospital and associated land adjacent. An example is:-
Park Village East, Camden
This proposal comprised 420 units (incl 210 social units) an 'air rights deck' of 3 acres adjacent to the West Coast Main Line and over a train depot. Proposal was a joint venture acquisition by both Gladedale Group (residential specialist) and John Laing (rail specialist). Planning, design and legal due diligence to exchange of contracts stage
Murray Royal Hospital, Tayside NHS - feasability studies with town planning discussions and financial appraisals for development of surplus land and re-use of Listed former hospital building.
RAIL
We act for Chiltern Railways on a number of station improvement projects, from car park expansion and decking, to restoration of listed buildings for retail and cafe uses. We have also worked on a major rail infrastructure project, 'Intercity Express Programme', to identify and secure the associated new rail maintenance depots and 'stabling' throughout the country. We are almost fluent in the requirements of rail related approvals, such as Station Change, Form A/B/C, 'Green Zone' working, etc. Project examples include:-
High Wycombe Station - revised access and egress, new decked car park, conversion of listed building for retail and cafe. We have obtained detailed planning, listed building, conservation area and advertisement consents together with confirming Permitted Development rights for certain aspects.
Gerrards Cross station - expanded car park to provide an additional 140 car spaces (in the light blue areas on this drawing).
